“The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a veryvmean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get it and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now if you know what you’re worth then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain’t you! Quote and Poems

Hello All,
I bring to you an opportunity.  An opportunity to impact anyone who wishes to read what you have to say.  I encourage you to place your favorite written poems and quotes in the appropriate tabs above.  These can be peoms and quotes that you, yourself have written or they can ones written by others that you hold dear to your heart.  Please add your content and comment on any that you read on this blog that evokes emotion.  Below are two of mine that I have drafted over the years.
Thanks

A Bipolar Mind

So excited, full of life, no more worries no more strife

Wide awake, shutting down, ripping apart and spiraling down

Completely numb though aware, no more trying, I don’t care

Giving up, giving in, life is empty full of sin

Where’d you go, my only hope, you dimmed the lights, no more fights

We were whole, one pure soul, we wanted more to adore.

Let’s try this, let’s try that, favorites found, cheerful sounds

Taking more as we adore the love we share for each others care

As time goes bye I begin to sigh, feeling my heartfelt passions die

Time is lost, anguish gained, wide awake with my brain insane

I look around as I hear a sound and you come into focus lying on the ground

I see your tears as though they’re years, passing through time and all my fears

I don’t know and I don’t care lets leave this time and we’ll be fine. Well travel back to before and forget this pain that we adore.  I’ve been blind I missed the signs, so let’s rewind and we’ll be fine. No more pain, just me and you, let’s reset and be renewed.  It’s not to late, or so I hope, I’m scared as hell ringing Satan’s doorbell.

RS

Empty

Hollow trees and crisp brown leaves
Frightened birds and blood lust bees
Running down the winding road
Succumbing to fear and all that she holds
Shadows extend, as my skin grows cold
No longer youthful, but raggedly old
Stonewalls wet with the pungent air
The darkness sighs and often dares
The life that remains is hard and black
Familiar to gutters and sewer rats
I am encased by thoughts of fear
Focused I concentrate as I shed a dark tear
Woefully crying I disturb the air
Is anybody out there, anyone to care?
Is it to late, have they all moved on
Leaving me in darkness, wolves to a fawn
Roaches and onions sustain my frail soul
Mattresses of bark and fires of coal
Corners hold darkness but with that secrets
Will I discover treasure and trinkets?
Cracks in the walls and traces of pain
Scratches infected and cold blue veins
Hands at my back and bites on my feet
Dragging me down to hell where Ill meet
An entourage of fear and a blanket of horror
Day after day Ill be fed to the boars
Deserving I am for I am ashamed
Living a life where lives I claimed
Thinking not of the end of my time
Here I am, amongst my own kind
A void I’m in and rage I feel
It’s not my own, he’s here to kill
I get on my knees and think not to pray
I look upward in time to here the darkness say,
“Mine you are you wretched soul
Thought you’d escape my feasting bowl,
I’ve been waiting for you for quite some time
I’ve grown hungry in hell, but on you I’ll dine”

Any project worth your time comes with it's fair share of challenges and involves motivation by all involved. This is the problem.

Randy asked me to indulge myself on his quest towards dollar generating social marketing and i figured, why the hell not..? Motivation to create is only shared by a group of people only so often and I feel compelled to endure any worthy (i.e. money making) en devour.

Therefore, here is my first blog.

I don't mind posting a work so carelessly composed, genuinely naive and overall unconvinced of it's end result.

This is intended to inspire, and hopefully in the end it will, but of course not at first. Just a note to anybody venturing down the social marketing revenue generating highway with wide eyes, you're not alone.....Like survivors in some re-produced zombie movie. . . if we stick together, we'll get to jack up and mutilate so many zombies!
